Delete Your Account

You can delete your EarlyLane account at any time. When you delete your account, all of your personal data — including your child's profile, journal observations, and community posts — will be permanently deleted within 30 days. This cannot be undone.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

The easiest way to delete your account is directly from the EarlyLane app:

Open EarlyLane

Log into your account on the EarlyLane app.

Go to your Profile

Tap the profile icon in the top right corner of the home screen.

Open Settings

Scroll down to find the Settings or Account section.

Tap Delete Account

Select "Delete my account" and confirm. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion by email, contact us directly:

We will confirm your deletion request within 5 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

Please note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Once deleted, your journal observations and Assessment Passport data cannot be recovered. We recommend exporting or saving any important observations before deleting your account.

What we may retain

In limited circumstances we may retain certain data after account deletion where required by law — for example, records of financial transactions if you were a paying subscriber. This data is retained only as long as legally required and is not used for any other purpose.

Teacher collaborators

If you have invited teachers or professionals to collaborate on your child's profile, deleting your account will also remove their access to that child's profile. They will no longer be able to view or add observations.
